MEMBERSHIP
Membership of the society is open to individuals and groups, of any nationality, living in the UK and elsewhere, who support the society's aims. Present members include many people who first came to know the island by serving there in a professional capacity, or who have visited it on holiday. Other members have never been to St Helena but have a special interest in some aspect of its history, environment or culture. Current subscription rates are £15 per person, or £25 joint-membership for two people at one address. Members with an address on Ascension Island, St Helena, Tristan da Cunha or the Falkland Islands pay only £10 per year. There is a minimum payment of £300 for Life Membership. Members receive two issues of Wirebird and two issues of the St Helena Connection each year and some Bulletins. The society holds two meetings per annum.
